Real problems people complain about online, pulled every morning and scored out of 100. Build, validate, or skip. How scoring works
I build and maintain websites for a handful of small business clients. One of them messaged me asking if I can help with their SEO because they're not showing up high on Google. I can handle the technical stuff fine like page speed, structured data, fixing crawl errors, meta tags. But they want more than that, they want to know why their competitor outranks them, what keywords to target, whether their content is any good etc...I don't have a background in marketing or seo. I've been patching things together using 4 different tools and honestly it's taking more time than the actual dev work. Is there a decent way to handle this as a solo dev ? Or do I just tell them it's out of scope? (To be honest I really need the extra money for this seo work) **Update:** appreciate all the advice here 🙏 I’m gonna keep doing the SEO for them and treat it as a paid learning sprint for me too, it could be a solid extra income stream. I’ve been juggling ahrefs + SurferSEO + Screaming Frog + GSC and it’s too much, I’m gonna switch to SeenOS for most of the workflow and only pull out Screaming Frog when I need a deep crawl

Software developers struggle to run multiple coding agents or parallel development tasks efficiently on their local machines. They either run agents sequentially (wasting time waiting) or manage them ad-hoc across different windows/terminals (causing context confusion, interference between tasks, and difficulty tracking progress). This context-switching overhead slows down development velocity and makes it hard to coordinate when multiple agents or processes need attention simultaneously.

Developers and teams want to use OpenClaw, a popular open source AI agent, but hosting it themselves demands significant infrastructure costs (Mac mini servers), continuous monitoring, security patching, and DevOps knowledge. Many lack these resources or expertise, forcing them to either abandon the tool or spend weeks on setup and maintenance instead of building their actual application logic.

Early-stage teams need to validate UI concepts quickly but spend days having designers create mockups from sketches or verbal descriptions, delaying development sprints. Current workflows require back-and-forth iterations between non-designers and designers, creating bottlenecks. This slow feedback loop means founders can't test ideas fast enough to stay competitive, especially when operating lean without dedicated design resources.

As AI agents and bots increasingly crawl and interact with websites, site owners struggle to understand what portion of their traffic is automated versus human-driven. Standard analytics tools lump all traffic together, making it impossible to assess whether bot interactions indicate genuine product interest, waste resources, or create opportunities. This confusion makes it hard to optimize growth strategies, allocate marketing spend, or understand true user engagement.

Professionals spend hours manually building slides, formatting content, and iterating on decks—constantly switching between PowerPoint and other tools like documents or data sources. This fragmented process delays presentations, introduces formatting inconsistencies, and forces users to learn PowerPoint's design quirks rather than focusing on content. Teams with brand guidelines struggle to maintain consistency across multiple presenters.

Professional and aspiring iOS developers face steep learning curves with Xcode, spend hours on repetitive coding tasks, and struggle to build across multiple Apple platforms (iPhone, iPad, Watch, Vision Pro). Current development requires powerful computers, lengthy setup, and deep technical knowledge. Developers want faster iteration cycles and the ability to build directly on their devices without traditional IDE friction.

Marketing teams, small business owners, and content creators without design skills struggle to produce professional, on-brand visuals quickly. They either hire expensive designers (slow, costly), use rigid templates (limiting), or create designs they're unhappy with themselves. This slows down content production and results in inconsistent branding across materials.

Businesses and developers need AI that can handle sophisticated tasks like coding, long-form analysis, and computer automation, but existing models force them to choose between affordability and capability. High-performance models are prohibitively expensive for regular use, while cheaper alternatives lack the intelligence for complex work. This limits AI adoption and forces users to compromise on either cost or quality.

Product managers spend hours manually mapping user flows, identifying edge cases, and creating design variations—work that's error-prone and inconsistent. They lack a systematic way to validate their UX decisions against proven patterns, forcing them to rely on intuition, design reviews, or expensive external consultants. This slows down product iteration and increases the risk of shipping suboptimal UX.

AI developers and teams currently spend significant time setting up databases, APIs, authentication, and deployment infrastructure before their AI agents can do anything useful. They either build custom backends (slow, error-prone) or cobble together multiple services (complex, expensive to maintain). This delays getting AI agents to production and distracts from the actual AI logic that provides value.

Marketing teams and product creators need high-quality explainer videos for landing pages and campaigns, but video production is prohibitively expensive ($5K-50K+), time-consuming (weeks to months), or results in generic, unmemorable content. They currently either hire agencies, use template-based tools with stock footage, or abandon video entirely—all of which fail to capture their unique brand voice or messaging. This directly impacts conversion rates and customer understanding of their product.

People experiencing anxiety, stress, or emotional distress often can't get timely professional help—therapy waitlists are months long, sessions cost $100-300+, and many feel uncomfortable seeking in-person care. They struggle alone or rely on inadequate free resources, missing early intervention when they need support most.

Founders and sales teams currently cobble together multiple tools (LinkedIn, email finders, CRMs, spreadsheets) to identify prospects matching their ideal customer profile, manually research each one, and write personalized emails—a repetitive, time-consuming process that delays revenue and scales poorly. Without automation, teams either hire dedicated SDRs (expensive) or accept low conversion rates from generic outreach. This creates a bottleneck: good prospects are found but never reached, or reached with impersonal copy that gets ignored.

Non-technical users want to leverage AI agents for work and personal tasks but are blocked by complicated installation processes, steep learning curves, and security concerns with current solutions. They're forced to either avoid AI assistance entirely or struggle through technical barriers that make the tools more trouble than they're worth. This leaves a large population unable to benefit from AI productivity gains.
