A mobile game that builds automatic recall of basic math facts through spaced repetition and game mechanics.

Build angle
Strengths
- Clear problem with measurable outcomes (fluency tests, speed improvements)
- Existing distribution channels (app stores, school adoption programs, parent communities)
- Low barrier to initial MVP, can be built by one person in weeks
- Recurring revenue potential through subscriptions or school licenses
Risks
- Retention is hard in edtech games; most users churn within weeks without strong habit loops
- Competing against free alternatives (Duolingo, Khan Academy) requires proving learning gains, not just engagement
- School adoption requires sales effort, relationships, and compliance work that doesn't scale solo
- Apple and Google take 30 percent of revenue, and algorithm changes can kill distribution overnight
- No defensible moat; any competitor with more funding can clone the mechanics and outspend on marketing

Math automaticity is a real problem for students, a mobile game addresses a genuine gap in practice tools, but monetization uncertainty and technical complexity in adaptive learning hold back the score.
Value Equation
Dream outcome and how likely it feels, against the time and effort it costs.
The market exists and is large, but the willingness to pay for a game versus free alternatives is unclear, and the founder would need to prove retention and LTV before scaling.
One-Person Business
Curiosity pull, identity fit, and a path from free value to paid for a solo creator.
A focused niche of parents buying for kids or teachers adopting for classrooms exists, but the product must demonstrate measurable learning gains to justify premium pricing against Khan Academy and Duolingo.
Viral Frameworks
Hook strength, shareability, and how cheaply it can be tested.
The founder can build a functional game quickly, but sustaining engagement, managing server costs, and competing with well-funded edtech platforms requires skills beyond initial development.
Builder Lens
Evidence the problem exists, timing, defensibility, and a model that fits on a napkin.
The idea has a clear user base and addresses a real need, but lacks defensibility, network effects, or a path to venture-scale returns without significant differentiation.

µJS, a 5KB alternative to Htmx and Turbo with zero dependencies
I built µJS because I wanted AJAX navigation without the verbosity of HTMX or the overhead of Turbo. It intercepts links and form submissions, fetches pages via AJAX, and swaps fragments of the DOM. Single <script> tag, one call to `mu.init()`. No build step, no dependencies.Key features: patch mode (update multiple fragments in one request), SSE support, DOM morphing via idiomorph, View Transitions, prefetch on hover, polling, and full HTTP verb support on any element. At ~5KB gzipped, it's smaller than HTMX (16KB) and Turbo (25KB), and works with any backend: PHP, Python, Go, Ruby, whatever.Playground: https://mujs.org/playgroundComparison with HTMX and Turbo: https://mujs.org/comparisonAbout the project creation, why and when: https://mujs.org/aboutGitHub: https://github.com/Digicreon/muJSHappy to discuss the project.
