I built a tool that prices a pre-built PC part by part

I've missed out on an awesome computer that I could use for a project because figuring out value took too long. Users paste a listing and receive a value grade, dated component estimates and a shareable report. AI reads the listing but my custom built price engine determines the grade (updated every day). Self financed and working now. Looking for feedback re: scoring, interface, and if its helpful. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tpft--x3WlI

Trend

No signal yet

A tool that quickly values pre-built PCs part-by-part using AI and a custom pricing engine.

The pain

Users waste time and miss deals because they cannot quickly assess the value of pre-built PC listings.

The gap

Existing marketplaces and tools do not provide fast, detailed, and updated component-level pricing with shareable reports.

Build angle

A single developer can maintain the AI parsing and pricing engine with daily updates, keeping costs low.

Strengths

  • Clear and specific user pain
  • Custom pricing engine updated daily
  • Shareable, detailed reports add user value
  • Self-financed and already functional

Risks

  • Dependence on accurate and current component pricing data
  • User trust in AI valuation accuracy
  • Limited market size and monetization clarity
  • Competition from existing PC marketplaces and price comparison tools
