A tool to remotely delete your phone number from other people's contacts without their knowledge or consent.

The pain

People worry their phone number exists in others' contact lists and want it removed. They can't control who has their number or delete it from devices they don't own.

The gap

No technical mechanism exists to remotely wipe a number from someone else's phone without that person's action. Phone OS architecture doesn't support this. Manual deletion requires the contact owner to do it themselves.

Build angle

This idea requires solving a technical impossibility. You cannot delete data from devices you don't control without the device owner's cooperation. Building this would require either: (1) compromising phone security, (2) getting cooperation from phone manufacturers and carriers, or (3) creating a service that contacts people on your behalf to ask them to delete you.
