Wikihack – HackerTube, but for Wikipedia articles mentioned on HN
After seeing Karpathy's Hackertube and Hackerbooks, I just had to make Wikihack.I scraped all mentions of wikipedia on hackernews and ranked them, and turn them into a scrollable feed to make it a bit more easy to digest / interact with. You can see where people submitted the articles and where people mentioned it in comments. The top shows the most frequently linked articles.Random is random but slightly weighted towards the more frequently linked articles (a little bit like Wikipedia actually).Rising is ranked towards the past 12 months. The entire site is served only through the frontend -- I'll add more features if people enjoy this!

Value Equation
Dream outcome and how likely it feels, against the time and effort it costs.
The value to users is moderate as it simplifies access to Wikipedia links on Hacker News, but the market size and monetization potential are limited.
One-Person Business
Curiosity pull, identity fit, and a path from free value to paid for a solo creator.
The idea addresses a specific user need with a simple tool, but lacks clear differentiation and strong demand beyond a small audience.
Viral Frameworks
Hook strength, shareability, and how cheaply it can be tested.
The concept is straightforward and technically feasible, but the user base and growth potential appear constrained without additional features or broader appeal.
Builder Lens
Evidence the problem exists, timing, defensibility, and a model that fits on a napkin.
The project is a lightweight, founder-buildable tool with some product-market fit in a niche community, but it lacks a clear path to scale or monetization.
