I run a small lifestyle brand on shopify and video content is eating me alive. I know TikTok and insta/reels drive traffic, but actually producing enough content to stay consistent is a different story. Right now I'm basically spending a sunday afternoon batch-filming with my phone, editing manually, and still only getting maybe 2-3 videos out per week. It's not sustainable and I can't justify hiring an editor yet. I've tried a few AI tools but they're mostly designed for repurposing long-form content, or making really generic short clips and not really built around showcasing products. Also output in general seems to be very generic. A few things i'm genuinely curious about: * how many videos are you putting out per week, and how long does it take you? * has anyone found a AI tool or workflow that actually works well for product-focused short-form video? * what's your biggest bottleneck: scripting ideas, filming, editing, or just staying consistent? Would love to hear what's working for people at different stages. I feel like everyone says "just post more video" but nobody talks about the actual process behind it.

Fly Labs Method
Is the pain real, is there a gap, is it the right time, can one person build it.
The idea addresses a real and severe pain for e-commerce brands struggling with product-focused short-form video creation. While there's a perceived gap in quality and specificity of existing AI tools, the market is competitive, and building a genuinely differentiated solution that isn't generic is a substantial technical challenge for a solo founder, impacting buildability.
Value Equation
Dream outcome and how likely it feels, against the time and effort it costs.
This idea benefits from a real, urgent market pain and strong growth, but faces significant challenges in achieving genuine differentiation and managing the high technical complexity of the build for a solo founder.
One-Person Business
Curiosity pull, identity fit, and a path from free value to paid for a solo creator.
The problem is clear and the audience is reachable, but the technical complexity of delivering a truly differentiated AI video generation tool makes it challenging for a solo founder to execute simply and efficiently.
Viral Frameworks
Hook strength, shareability, and how cheaply it can be tested.
The idea has a clear target audience, strong value proposition, and viable business model, but carries high risk regarding the solo builder's ability to technically differentiate the AI solution and validate its superior output.
Builder Lens
Evidence the problem exists, timing, defensibility, and a model that fits on a napkin.
The idea targets a desperate, specific user with a critical problem in a growing market, but the narrowest viable product for a solo builder requires precise AI differentiation.
